John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are expecting a girl

Baby Teigen-Legend is going to be a girl, a proud Chrissy Teigen announced Thursday.

Actually, the supermodel and TV personality had two things to be proud of, according to her Instagram post: The baby and her new Vogue Thailand cover.

"So proud and honored to have shot the cover of Vogue Thailand! Special to me for so many reasons...one being I am SO PROUD to be Thai, so excited to have shot a Vogue cover (a dream, of course)," she enthused.

Teigen's mother, Vilailuck Teigen, was born and raised in Thailand. Chrissy included a picture of her mom, expertly cutting a pineapple, on her Instagram page.

Teigen and Legend have been posting about their happiness for months; most recently, Teigen got emotional about her Christmas "lifetime dream" gift from Legend, a giant cheese wheel.

Teigen, an enthusiastic social-media user, announced her pregnancy, on Instagram, in October.
