Watch 'Bachelor' Ben Higgins dole out the nicest rejection EVER

There are just a few more days until we gather again as a #BachelorNation on Monday to live vicariously through the 28 contestants lucky enough to have the chance to date The Bachelor, Ben Higgins.

And we are counting down the days, right?!?

To hold us over, ABC shared this video on Tuesday.

In the clip, contestant Lace (a 25-year-old real estate agent from Denver) tries to make a play for Ben. Can you blame her?

Though she already received a kiss, she asks for "a better kiss." Things get a little weird when Lace senses that Ben is hesitating. His polite reasoning goes a little something like:

"Well, I think like going into this, my goal was to really get to know everybody... It's so easy to get sucked up into the physical part of the night... that you forget to actually take time to talk." 

What a guy! Unfortunately that doesn't make Lace feel any better. She is later shown in an on-camera interview sarcastically saying:

"I don't look like a fool or anything."

Dang! It's all right, girl! We've seen worse rejections, right?
