'The Martian' Honest Trailer is basically 'Cast Away' in space

The Martian's Honest Trailer has us finally questioning why we keep spending billions to rescue Matt Damon -- though honestly, this too-accurate calculation already made us question our decisions.

But rescue him we do ... and watch him do self-surgery, and plant potatoes, and curse and do math. Yeah, Screen Junkies points out that The Martian is basically a more scientifically accurate (read: boring) space version of Cast Away that also acts as a two-hour commercial for NASA.

But we're still fine with it, because it allows us to watch Matt Damon dance to disco in a space suit. Worth the billions.
