And since El Chapo reportedly agreed to conduct his now-infamous Rolling Stone interview because he hoped Hollywood would turn his story into a movie, the Late Show host took it upon himself to get his audition tape ready. (Never mind that Colbert's original dream El Chapo casting was "Danny DeVito and a large black caterpillar" was way more accurate.)

And Stephen has a very different understanding about the kind of gangster that El Chapo is.
