Kate Moss channels her inner Ziggy Stardust for 42nd birthday

On Jan. 10, David Bowie made his final transformation, prompting friends and fans to mourn the rock chameleon.

But, over the weekend, English supermodel Kate Moss elected to celebrate Bowie's life rather than the world's loss. For her 42nd birthday, Moss threw a Bowie-themed celebration with attendees — including Boy George — vibing to his music and channeling his alter egos.

For her part, Moss tapped into her inner Ziggy Stardust, donning a sleek, black leather one-piece with silver sequins and an embellished lightening bolt and finishing the look with glittering purple platforms. She posed with Pam Hogg, who shared the look on her Instagram.

"Saturday 16th..Kate Moss b-day party in honour of David Bowie," the British designer wrote, adding, "Kate looking awesome in my archive 1991 black and silver sequin ⚡suit...Bowie flashes of stardust inspiration forever .. 📷... ace photo by @mertalas 🌹⚡️🌹thank you!..Wiked (sic) night Kate! x."
