Alicia Vikander spills on new 'action driven' 'Bourne' movie

You may not have heard of Alicia Vikander before 2015, but the actress had an incredible year, breaking out with roles in Ex Machina and (Oscar-nominated) The Danish Girl. And she's not stopping there.

Vikander will be starring with Matt Damon in the upcoming fifth installment of the Jason Bourne series, and she opened up to TheWrap about what the new Bourne will entail:

“I’m not doing the conventional action but I’m very action-driven in this film. But it’s not in the way most people would think. ... “I came from Sweden where it’s like 30, 40 people, and here on The Danish Girl, doing a British film, it’s 100, and then you end up on these sets, and I know on Monday or Tuesday we’re going to have 1,600 extras just in one scene.”

So what was it like meeting Mr. Bourne himself, Matt Damon?

“I hadn’t met Matt, I was just the biggest fan. He’s very funny on set and then he’s just extremely cool as Bourne, but we all know that.”

We do indeed, girl.
