Steven Tyler walks into CNN's live blizzard broadcast, gives storm advice

You never know what to expect on live TV, be it a random streaker or an aging rock star come to bestow blizzard advice for all the enraptured viewers.

Thankfully, CNN reporter Poppy Harlow got the latter while reporting on Winter Storm Jonas in New York City. While doing a standard broadcast of the scene, who else should stumble in but Aerosmith lead singer Steven Tyler with his daughter Mia Tyler? Cue Harlow's (probably) lifelong wish to interview the rock star and get his opinion on winter weather.

Tyler explained that he was in town to visit his daughters and grandson, as well as make an appearance on The Late Show. Despite the blizzard conditions, he still plans to make an appearance on Howard Stern Monday as well.

Scheduled TV appearances or not, Tyler's still planning to enjoy the storm with his daughter, Mia.

"I'm going to hunker down, I got the feeling the storm's going to keep us here a couple extra days."

"Stay home," he said. "Two words: hot chocolate."
