Count Sarah Michelle Gellar in for the 'Cruel Intentions' pilot

It's the Marcia bleeping Brady of the Upper East Side, people!

Sarah Michelle Gellar announced via Instagram that she will be back to reprise the role of the promiscuous and conniving Kathryn Merteuil for the Cruel Intentions drama pilot based on the movie. Do you think she'll bring back the cross necklace?

Gellar's photo showed her with Director Roger Kumble and Executive Producer Neal Moritz from the 1999 flick on the first night of production for the movie and, all of these years later, the TV show.

Deadline Hollywood reports that the show will follow Merteuil, now married to the wealthy Pascal Barrett, as she tries to take control of a company and her nephew -- apparently Sebastian and Annette had a kid?!?

We're not sure yet if Reese Witherspoon, Selma Blair or Joshua Jackson will make any appearances, but we're certainly for that! And, spoiler alert (though honestly you've had like 17 years to see the film), we'd even take a ghost version of Ryan Phillippe.
