Yep, Compton' has a 'dope' connection to 'Inside Out'

Backstage in the press room, Inside Out's best animated feature winners, director Pete Docter and producer Jonas Rivera, pondered which moment stood out in a sea of (non-stop) awards season events. Cue Compton.

"I have to say, I’m a huge fan of N.W.A and Ice Cube," said Rivera. "This is so name drop-y, but we were lucky enough to sit next to them at the Straight Outta Compton table at one of these (events), and I got to meet Ice Cube. I introduced myself as the producer of 'Inside Out' not knowing what I’d get. And he said, 'Oh man, that was DOPE.' And I have to be honest, that was a pretty good moment for me."
