Johnny Depp was on 'The Walking Dead' (or, at least his head was)
Mild spoilers for Sunday's The Walking Dead follow.
The Walking Dead has had its fair share of severed heads over the course of six seasons, but it has never had a head quite like this one.
On Sunday's episode, when our heroes were on the hunt for a walker head that looked like Hilltop leader's Geoffrey's (natch), they had three heads that made the finals. One of those heads, as it turns out, was cast in the shape of one Mr. Johnny Depp. Seriously.
Executive producer Greg Nicotero broke it down for Entertainment Weekly:
"One of the other heads, I don’t know if I’m going to get in trouble if I say this, was Johnny Depp. I think we had sculpted an emaciated version of a dummy head for something and we used Johnny Depp’s head as a basis just for a clay sculpt."
Well if you have to choose anyone's head to randomly use for a scene like that, Depp's head is a very attractive mold. We support this decision.
