Tim Burton's 'Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children' trailer is very on-brand

"We're what's known as ... peculiar."

That's Eva Green's titular Miss Peregrine in the trailer for Tim Burton's Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. She's talking about the magically gifted children in the movie, though, not about Tim Burton movies in general.

Burton's latest, based on the Ransom Riggs novel of the same name, checks off all the boxes on the director's checklist: Stunning visuals, magical characters, bright colors with a dark edge, Eva Green, etc. The film also features Asa Butterfield looking his most innocent, which is always a plus.

The movie hits theaters Sept. 30.
