John Boyega loves the whole Finn/Poe bromance as much as you do

Since they first stole a TIE Fighter, avoided certain death and had a memorable bromantic embrace on a Resistance base, John Boyega's Finn and Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron have been favorites of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens fandom. Folks have written fan fiction and done all sorts of artwork with these two space pals, sharing them online and on social media.

You know who else is Team #Finnpoe? Yep, Boyega himself. He tells us:

"It’s fantastic. Any opportunity to give fans the moment to interact and to imagine more than what the movie was, it’s great. Fans have to wait a long time — they need something to do while they’re waiting for these installments to come out. So it’s great that the fans are talking and seeing more unique and diverse ways of showing love within Star Wars and I think it’s really really cool."

Boyega also was just as excited as pretty much everyone about Daisy Ridley brandishing a lightsaber as Rey and taking the fight to Adam Driver's bad guy Kylo Ren in the movie's final act:

"The moment that made me realize we were part of the Star Wars universe was the whole sequence on the Falcon and the choppy dialogue, the big holleration, the 'Woos!' and all that stuff made you realize you were in a Star Wars movie. And that (lightsaber) scene in the forest, we were so engrossed in character and the intensity of what has just happened, it was more about the scene. And that’s why Kylo just got messed up! Daisy went crazy!"
