Is Dave Grohl's throne on loan to Axl Rose?

With Dave Grohl's broken leg finally mended, his perfectly rockin' mobile throne was just wasting away in storage.

Not anymore.

Based on video shot Friday at Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena, it looks like Axl Rose has borrowed it to work around the broken foot he suffered at Guns 'N' Roses' April 1 show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

"This is what can happen when you do something you haven't done in nearly over 23 years," he tweeted Friday with a video featuring his orthopedist explaining his diagnosis — a broken fifth metatarsal (the bone connecting his pinky toe to his left foot) — and the surgery she performed to get him roadworthy.

Now back to that throne, which was designed by Grohl while he was "high as a (expletive) on morphine" after his fall in Gothenberg Sweden last year. It must imbue its inhabitant with superpowers because Rose was about to withstand a 23-song set in the first of two Vegas shows.

Paste BN has reached out to the Foo Fighters' reps for confirmation — mostly because we just want to hear that story.
