Honest Trailer: The 1967 animated 'Jungle Book' is barely a movie

Remember anything about the original Disney animated Jungle Book other than The Bare Necessities? Nope, neither do we.

Turns out that movie was a pretty boring compilation of random dance scenes, recycled animation and stranger danger, according to the newest Honest Trailer from the Youtube channel Screen Junkies. The trailer points out that there's barely a plot other than Mowgli having dance-offs with several different species of animals before he gets chased by a tiger that appears halfway through the movie.

Hopefully the upcoming Jungle Book adaptation (out April 15) will have a bit more plot than this. Or at least a Bill Murray interpretation of The Bare Necessities.
