'This American Life' now has its own Pandora station, and you should add it
Good news, podcast listeners: Starting this week, you can catch new This American Life episodes right on Pandora. In fact, it's worth clearing out one of your 100 stations to make room for the show. (We can't be the only ones who have the max 100 stations, right?)
TAL, the popular audio show hosted by Ira Glass, launches its own Pandora radio station today, the same way Serial (also produced by Glass) got its own station back in November (and was then streamed over 15 million times on Pandora).
To get the station, you just need to be logged into your Pandora account, and add the "This American Life" station. Once there, you'll hear the newest episode of the show, with the next most-recent ones playing after that.
You can also choose from an "Episodes" tab and pick specific episodes to stream. The episodes are divided into parts that make it easy to remember where you are, skip ahead and go back.
For listeners new to TAL, we suggest starting with Ep. 577: Something Only I Can See.
Glass, who wasn't feeling 100% while recording the newest TAL episode called "In Defense of Ignorance," gave listeners the Pandora news directly on his show:
"This is our first episode on Pandora. If you never heard our show before, and you're listening to us on Pandora for the first time: That's right, it's a radio show hosted by a sick person. This is it, every week. I hope you like it," he joked.
New episodes are available every Monday. Happy binge-listening!
