'Mindy Project': 4 Mindy moments when Dr. Lahiri looked online for lovin'

Mindy is ready to move on—er, maybe get it on is the more appropriate phrase.

After experiencing a dry spell, Mindy realized that a sex dream about Morgan was a clear indicator that she needed to get a little action. Hence the title of this Mindy Project episode, Mindy Lahiri is DTF. 

So, like many of us, she turned to online sites and apps to satisfy her six month itch and gave us these glorious Mindy moments along the way.

1. When she attempted the great ladyscape 

Before putting her feet in the stirrups for Dr. Jody Kimball-Kinney—for a medical exam, people—she warned him about a new sitch that got a tad hairy.

"Couple a days ago I tried to shave the Tory Burch symbol down here, and it went real bad, 'K? And, I don't need to hear it from you," she said.

2. When she tried to be sex kitten-ish

After talking with her patient and friend, Chelsea (Eliza Coupe from Happy Endings), Mindy decided to join the dating site CUDDLESpot, which seems like the antithesis of Tinder. Dr. L's bio went a little something like, "Just a cuddly kitten in the city looking for my ball of yarn. Meow." And yes, those words did turn her on.

3. When she escaped the date that could not Toby anymore boring

Her first date was with the guy who played Toby in The Office (Paul Lieberstein). If only Michael Scott could see them now.

And, if possible, he was even worse than Toby. And since Mindy was looking for a lot less talk about her date's history of being bullied, and more action, she ditched him. Just walked right out the door while he was rambling on about old nuts from his mailman.

4. When she made the potato skins disappear

After having no luck on CUDDLESpot or Pork-it (an app just like it sounds) and hearing Jody talk about how people should go after the things that they want, Mindy decided to ask a cute bartender to come over for some sex. He was the one who poured her doubles until she realized she wasn't about hooking up with a sleazy stranger from an app called Pork-it in a public bathroom.

Before she made her decent proposal, the barkeep asked if she wanted to share some potato skins, and naturally once his back was turned, they vanished faster than you can say, "Harry Houdini who now?"

Speaking of magic, Mindy never saw the letter that Jody sent last week where he pretty much asked her out. That's because Jody sent it to Mindy's old address, Danny's apartment, which caused Dr. Castellano to burst into Jody's office hotter than a spicy meatball.

Danny told Jody that he didn't want him to date Mindy even though Jody had just asked Mindy out to coffee. While Danny was storming out, Mindy caught him in the elevator, and she rode down with him to see why he was so upset. Danny held in what had transpired, and the tension between the two was just too much to bear.

After Danny got off the elevator, he stopped the doors from closing, pulled Mindy in, whispered, "Make good decisions," and kissed her cheek. We. Can. NOT!

Later in the doctor's lounge, Jody cancelled his coffee date with Mindy, who was now all dressed up with nowhere to go. That's when she went back to the bartender and got her serving of potato skins at the bar and a Sex on the Beach in bed, if you know what we mean. And how could you not? It's pretty obvious.
