Louis C.K.'s daughter loves that he quit the Internet

Louis C.K. might be Team Coco, but he's not team Internet these days.

During a Conan appearance on Thursday, the comedian who once wrote for Late Night with Conan O'Brien, explained that he's quit the Internet "for now."

"I don't like the way it feels anymore," he said to O'Brien. "Especially in my hand, the devices, I don't like this thing--that I stare into this thing." And the Horace and Pete star said that notifications became distracting even while spending time with one of his daughters.

"She dies inside every time I do this," Louis C.K. said.

To remedy the situation, he told his daughter to lock him out of the Internet on all of his devices using a code that he didn't know.

"And it's been about a month. I haven't Googled anything," the Louie creator said. "I just go up and walk up to people and ask them questions and stuff, which is more fun too."

With all of the free time he's accumulated, he actually done stuff, like read Pride and Prejudice. And, his 10-year-old daughter penned a note that showed her appreciation for his undivided attention and congratulated him on his ability to withdraw.

"I am really proud of you for cutting yourself off from the Internet and reading an awesome book," his daughter wrote. "I want you to know that what you did means a lot to me, and I really enjoy seeing your pleasure and not constantly being on devices."

Aww. Since he can't share the adorable note online, we're happy to do it for him.
