'Real Housewives': Bethenny tells Sonja 'I don't want anything to do with you'

Face it   you love a good reality TV blowup or well-timed table flip. We do, too. So we’re taking our guilty pleasure to the next level and analyzing the most dramatic moments in a new regular series we’re calling Reality TV Burn Book.

A bite out of the big apple tastes bittersweet on The Real Housewives of New York.

The author:

In a preview for the next Real Housewives of New York, Skinnygirl Cocktails founder Bethenny Frankel put Sonja Morgan in her place.

The beef:

On Wednesday's episode, Sonja threw herself a birthday party where she unveiled her latest business endeavor, which was a surprise to her guests. "I've taken Bethenny's advice so I haven't said anything about this latest venture," Sonja said to the camera, giving an example of irony for the audience.

Cut to the party, where the birthday girl greeted her guests and her fellow Housewives: Dorinda Medley, Jules Wainstein (this season's newbie), Luann de Lesseps, and Ramona Singer. Bethenny and Carole Radziwill didn't attend.

While her party guests gathered round, Sonja had trays of her new project, a Prosecco, passed around. The only problem? Her brand is called Tipsy Girl.

The burn:

Many of the ladies had things to say after Sonja's latest undertaking was revealed. "Booze? That's the last thing Sonja needs to do," Ramona said in an on-camera interview. Hey, did she borrow those judgy eyes from one of The Real Housewives of Orange County?

Dorinda didn't think the name would be an issue for Bethenny, but Jules knew better. The new girl picked it up quick.

"Clearly Bethenny is very protective of her brand," Jules said. "I watched her and John (Mahdessian) go through it at the bra party with Skinny Cow and Skinnygirl. I think when Bethenny hears about Tipsy Girl (expletive) is gonna go down." And it did.

During a conversation that we'll get to see in its entirety next week, Bethenny confronts Sonja about her brand name that feels all too familiar.

"When a brand rides on the coattails of another brand, they call it a cheater brand," Bethenny said. "It's a personal insult, and I don't want anything to do with you."

Yes, Sonja needed a tissue after that. And probably a glass of Skinny Tipsy Girl Prosecco.
