John Oliver has some 911-level concerns about 911 call centers

911 call centers are having an emergency. So, um, who should they call? Well John Oliver, for a start.

The HBO host took on the various struggles the call centers are facing, which seem pretty dire considering they deal with life and death situations, you know, every single day. But don't worry, Oliver has a solution. And it involves a new PSA, of course.

“This blasé attitude is indicative of the fact that until we’re explicitly confronted with the challenges facing 9-1-1, it seems we’re not going to do anything about them. And maybe the problem is that we are taught from a young age to take 9-1-1 for granted, so perhaps it’s time for that to change,” he said before rolling his own version of a 911 PSA featuring your pals Rob Riggle as a fireman and Wendi McClendon-Covey as a very overworked 9-1-1 dispatcher.
