'Gilmore Girls' revival gets an emotional title

Are you ready to laugh, cry and probably cry some more?

Lauren Graham, aka Lorelai Gilmore, revealed on Ellen in an episode that will air on Monday, the title for the Netflix revival of you and your mom's favorite show, Gilmore Girls. The four part series, which will feature 90-minute installments, is going to be called Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life.

Netflix confirmed with an appropriate poster (although still no date on the series).

“It’s been the most incredible experience; I cry trying to talk about it,” Graham told DeGeneres of returning to the show and the character. “I feel so lucky to get to do it.”

No, ma'am, we are the lucky ones. The "year in the life" title suggests that the series will cover a lot of ground in those installments, possibly taking our girls (and guys) on a journey we are not ready for. We need a date for this thing, if only so we can emotionally prepare ourselves.
