Paste BN makes 'Popstar' history

Conner4Real, a deliciously dim pop star dreamt up by the Lonely Island (and played by Andy Samberg), knows his career is on the rocks when a major wardrobe malfunction lands him on the cover of Paste BN, "the most respected newspaper in the world!" he yells in full tantrum mode in Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping.

"The point of the movie in the end is not, like, celebrities suck," Samberg told Paste BN. "It’s this is sort of a ridiculous life. ... When you’re not flying high and when you’re not getting feedback that you used to, what do you fall back on, and how do you stay a whole person?"
