Chris Evans, Ethan Hawke perform Prince songs

In honor of Prince's birthday -- the late, great singer would have turned 58 today -- W magazine enlisted some of his celebrity fans to perform their favorite Prince songs for a video tribute.

Kit Harington, Ethan Hawke, Cindy Crawford, Chris Evans, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Rami Malek, Elle Fanning, Nate Parker, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tye Sheridan, Melissa Benoist, and Anya Taylor-Joy all perform their favorite Prince songs -- but while some stars belt it out, overall think less rock concert, more poetry reading.

In another video tribute, Crawford, Evans and more remember Prince with personal anecdotes -- including Crawford recalling how she met Prince dancing at a club in New York, and only to find out he later wrote a song about her, Cindy C.
