Carrie the 'Church Bells' slayer killed her CMT Music Awards performance
Ring the Church Bells alarm.
At the CMT Music Awards on Wednesday, Carrie Underwood showed the audience and viewers exactly why she took home the trophy for performance of the year.
The country artist absolutely floored her fellow musicians, like Keith Urban and Luke Bryan, with a rendition of Church Bells. Both guys gave her a standing O for her powerful pipes, along with Underwood's hubby, Mike Fisher.
The singer's performance included a mysterious man plucking a banjo hidden in the shadows and crescendoed with a gospel choir.
In addition to giving everyone chills, Underwood walked away with the award for female video of the year for Smoke Break. For a list of the night's winners click here.
