Everything is terrifying in HBO's 'Westworld' trailer

Welcome to your new reality. But it is it real?

The first full trailer for HBO's embattled drama Westworld arrived Sunday night just before the penultimate episode of this season of Game of Thrones. If that sounds familiar to you it's because the network debuted a teaser for it almost a year ago but the show has since been plagued by production problems in the time since. But now it has a release date (well, a release month, it's set to premiere sometime in October) and a fancy new trailer that shows a whole lot more of what it actually is.

The show is an update of Michael Crichton's film Westworld, about a futuristic theme park populated by robotic cowboys. The original starred Yul Brynner, and the new adaptation has a packed cast including Ed harris, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden and Thandie Newton. And if the first trailer is any indication, it's going all in on the creepy factor. Like Game of Thrones if it was only about Ramsay Bolton. You can see for yourself in the trailer above.
