Selena Gomez had some fun torturing James Corden on Carpool Karaoke

So sick of the same old Carpool Karaoke? Well then strap in.

James Corden's pass for the carpool lane, Selena Gomez, switched up the typical ride and sing routine on Monday's Late Late Show.

The duo stopped at an amusement park and took giant shots (of ginger). Also, we love Gomez for the three times she didn't feel the need to kill him with kindness.

1. The roller coaster of dread

When the Come & Get It singer wanted to bring a little fun into the late night host's life, she suggested they make a quick pit stop — emphasis on quick. The two boarded a roller coaster, to Corden's apparent displeasure.

"I really have no interest in this," he said while on the ride. And after, "That was no fun."

Corden, just buckle up for this next part you're going to really enjoy it.

2. The ginger shots shots shots

Corden found out that his guest likes to do ginger shots, so his people researched the brand she likes, and they put a few down the hatch.

Note: Corden's reaction might get you through the work day, and there's no surprise his review of the drink was "absolutely disgusting."

3. Basically denying Corden's request to join the ultimate entourage

Was their trip just one big audition for Taylor Swift's squad? It seems Corden has interest in being the first male in the group, but maybe calling the squad sexist isn't the best way to get in.

"I think we have a right to be that way," Gomez said, with eyebrow raise included. "It's a lot harder doing what I have to do." Respect!

If this edition of Carpool Karaoke was an attempt to get into Swift's powerful posse, Corden at least had a strong finish with a performance of Shake It Off.
