'Glory'! Britney Spears is gifting us with a new album

Summer is about to get way better, just before it ends.

Britney Spears gifted us with a new single, Make Me, a few weeks ago. So we probably should have seen this coming. The pop queen announced on Twitter Wednesday that her new album, Glory, is dropping on Aug. 26 on Apple Music.

She also tweeted that if you pre-order the album you'll  instantly get a free copy of her as-yet-unreleased single Private Show, as a bonus.

Glory will be her ninth album so far, her first since 2013's Britney Jean. So we've been waiting.
