Forget Tinder: Leslie Jones made a potential love connection on Twitter

Not only did Twitter help land Leslie Jones a trip to Rio, but it also may have connected her with a new man.

Jones, 48, who was invited by NBC to tweet and comment on the Games, tweeted before turning in Saturday night that she wanted a boyfriend, specifically one "named Wendell or Clarence."

She probably didn't expect a gold medal-worthy response from Wendell Pierce, 52. The actor and Tony-award winning producer, who starred in the Confirmation TV movie as eventual Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas and appears to be single, wrote about his unique qualifications:

To that, Jones replied, "hell yeah."

So, Pierce, if you're looking for Jones, she's hanging out at Copacabana Beach.

Jones has been in Rio since Friday, tweeting, posting to Snapchat (with custom filters) and appearing on Ryan Seacrest's show. She continues to #SlayAllDay.
