Seth Rogen is actually great at Tinder

If Seth Rogen wasn't a happily married celebrity, he'd totally find success on Tinder. The Sausage Party star showed off his dating app skills on camera by swiping for someone he just met, a Vanity Fair producer.

In an 11-minute video, Rogen makes pointed observations about Tinder connection-making and gives tips while he messages. Some things users can learn from Rogen:

1. "You can't get cutesy with this... sarcasm doesn't read."

2. Texting is basically a "cleverness contest" that involves jokes about dogs that can text.

3. "Don't put yourself with your more handsome friend in your main picture."

4. It's OK to "hit this guy up with... the most innocuous misleading GIF ever."

5. If your Tinder profile says you're an heiress, change it. (Rogen had a witty and fantastic upgrade for the VF staffer's profile.)

6. If a guy's first message is "whats up," just reply: "Nothing really. Good start pal."

And make sure you stick around for Rogen's perfect response for when most of us have no idea what to say.

Vanity Fair has also asked Eric Andre, Hannibal Burress and Amy Schumer to take over Tinder accounts.
