Matt Damon's man bun is back

Our apologies to Matt Damon. We cannot stop staring at your hair.

The Jason Bourne star showed up to a promotional event in Beijing on Tuesday  with a plush, chestnut-brown man bun. This isn't the first time we've seen Jimmy Kimmel's arch nemesis with longer locks. Last year, he swept his wavy hair back into a ponytail, which we later learned via The Graham Norton Show was the result of 700 hair extensions that took a full day to put in.

We're guessing Ben Affleck's BFF had some help this time, too. In late July, Damon was photographed with a much shorter cut at AOL headquarters in New York City. And while he may be able to grow potatoes in Martian soil, not even he can grow hair that fast.

The reappearance of Damon's Fabio follicles made us a wee bit nostalgic for these glorious man buns of yesteryear:
