'Bachelor in Paradise': Caila Quinn confronts Ashley Iaconetti about her antics
Ashley Iaconetti has not run out of tears or bad things to say about Caila Quinn.
When Bachelor in Paradise success story Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert returned to Sayulita, Mexico where they got engaged last season, the two were equipped with lots of advice for the couples and a date card to give away.
Ashley I., who dubbed herself "the least desirable woman in the kingdom," admitted to Jade and Tanner her biggest fear was that Caila and her love Jared Haibon would leave the show engaged. She also told the newlyweds that she deemed Caila to be "a faker person."
"I just hit the nail in the coffin for Jared," Ashley I. bragged to the cameras. "Jared and Caila are not in consideration for Jade and Tanner's date card. No way." Looks like her crafty skills go beyond applying makeup.
Of course, Jade and Tanner gave the date card to Jared and Caila — or Jaila as they might be known in The Bachelor annals — and Caila used this opportunity to get her feelings about Ashley I. off her chest.
"We're walking around on eggshells around her, which isn't helping us — I'm gonna be honest," she told Jared, who was receptive to her feelings.
During their make out session, editors spliced in Ashley I. talking about how she would not be able to deal if Caila and Jared went to the fantasy suite. "I would actually, I think I'd die because knowing Jared, in most cases, he wouldn't do anything, but I feel like she does have something on him, and he's gonna do stuff in the fantasy suite, and that is going to literally murder me." Can we get some bags of ice on ice just in case?
Ashley I. made another play to break up Jaila on what appeared to be the morning after their date.
"That girl is freaking fake," Ashley I. said in an interview. "But I really think the only reason that I feel okay is because I know I'm better than her, and I know how to get a reaction out of him. I'm his main chick. You may be making out with him, but I can make out with his mind. I know how to stimulate him correctly." Whatever that means.
So what was her play? She called Caila a "robot" and told Jared, "I think she just likes the thought of having something televised as a happily ever after." Jared took her concerns to heart and went to talk to Caila.
When Jared revealed Ashley I. was the one who put the bug in his ear, Caila decided the two women in Jared's life needed to have a chat.
"This is all jealousy," Caila told the cameras. "Yes, I said that I wouldn't go on a date with him, and she just can't get over that, but she needs to."
When she faced off with Ashley I., she referred to her and Jared as a "we," which made Ashley I. "want to scratch (Caila's) eyes out.
"If you were honestly here to meet someone else then you should focus on that," Caila condescendingly advised.
"I know, but there's nobody right now," Ashley quickly responded.
Then Caila threw some allegations Ashley I.'s way. "Okay, so you're gonna sabotage everyone else," she asked. "Like, you want to entertain yourself and...?"
Quickly thereafter the episode ended without a resolution, and their feud might very well be alive today. Check out Ashley I.'s seemingly pointed tweet.
Carly Waddell also backed Ashley I. up in the Twittersphere. She said Ashley I. wasn't the only one skeptical of Caila's feelings for Jared.
