Britney Spears and James Corden sing 'Toxic,' make us forget what year it is

What does Oops I Did It Again really mean? Not "Oops, I ordered Dominos again," but nice try, James Corden.

The Late Late Show host and Britney Spears performed the song anyway on the latest edition of "Carpool Karaoke" on Thursday, along with a medley of other Spears hits that defined our high school existence. Including Toxic, the jam that gave us visions of a diamond-encrusted Spears dancing through our heads.

Unfortunately, the pop star didn't bust out her old 12-karat ensemble. She did, however, look super trendy for her ride-along. Reflective glasses: check. Choker: check. Off-the-shoulder top: check. Fashionistas, do you feel her now?

The school girl costume also made an appearance because what would a Britney singalong be without them?

The Do You Wanna Come Over singer had a moment of real talk with the Karaoke king, confessing she wants more kids but has to find the right guy. But marriage isn't in the cards.

"I might French kiss someone, but I'm not going to marry them, no. I don't believe in marriage anymore."

Cue Womanizer.

Also, Brit Brit figured out that a guy with jokes like Corden should wear a warning. When the artist confirmed her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James Federline, have seen her Vegas act, the late night host recalled seeing his "mum" in his underwear when he was about 11. "I can't shake the image from my brain," he joked.

Some memories just stick with you.
