Oscar season is coming, and you can tell because new movie trailers have more crying and fewer superheroes and villains. And maybe they'll make you cry, too.

See the trailer for Manchester by the Sea, which stars Casey Affleck as a man tasked with caring for his teenage nephew after his brother (Kyle Chandler) dies. The family drama premiered earlier this year at the Sundance Film Festival, where Amazon Studios scooped it up for a whopping $10 million and critics rained praise. It also stars Michelle Williams, so yes, this is a movie you should probably see in order to get your Oscar ballot ready.
