'Bachelor in Paradise': Josh Murray gets Andi Dorfman's book thrown at him again

Starting a new chapter can be hard. Especially if the chapter people can't stop talking about is from a tell-all book penned by your ex.

Josh Murray once again had to defend himself against allegations made in former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman's book, It's Not Okay: Turning Heartbreak into Happily Never After, on Monday's episode of Bachelor in Paradise.

After watching Josh get upset about sleeping arrangements, Emily and Haley Ferguson, ABC's twins on retainer and Amanda Stanton's best friends, expressed their concerns to their pal, Nick Viall. The twice runner-up let the sisters from Sin City know his thoughts.

"The fact that he's cracked a little bit from something as simple as Amanda decided to go to bed without telling him, that's concerning to me, right?" Nick shared. "So, it's hard to believe that (Andi) wrote a fictional book about Josh that was all made up, but there's some accurate things about me. And, so I think it's a very fair question to ask: Did he come 'cause he thought he could repair his image?"

The twins thought Nick's points were valid and decided to have a chat with Amanda.

During the rose ceremony, when the girls had the duty of passing out the stems, the twins decided to leave and forfeit their roses because they hadn't found love south of the border. Before jetting, they warned Amanda about what they'd heard.

"Tonight it's been brought to our attention that, by a few of the people in the house now, that Josh's intentions aren't pure with you and we just want you to be careful," Haley said to Amanda while sobbing. Also, it was suggested that Amanda ask about incidents mentioned in the book.

"It's convenient timing that he's here in Paradise right now with the girl with the best reputation — America's sweetheart," Emily said.

Amanda felt confused because she didn't know what the tell-all said.

When the twins left, Josh went to chat with Amanda and denied the claims.

"To believe that kind of stuff is like looking in a gossip magazine, and believing that," Josh said visibly annoyed. "It's absolutely ludicrous."

When Amanda revealed the information the twins passed on came from an unnamed source, Josh called his fellow contestants down to the beach to confront them.

"I am very frustrated right now. Ever since I've been here for some reason one person or multiple people have accused me of being fake ... It's very disrespectful. It's inconsiderate, and it's a bunch of (expletive) to be honest with you," Josh said. "I don't need to be here. My dog's been battling cancer for six straight months. I wasn't gonna come here. I am looking for somebody — period." When Josh asked if anyone thought he wasn't genuine, Nick confessed he didn't know. Then Josh accused him of trying to sabotage his relationship and Nick brought up the book.

"You keep saying it's a fictional book. All I know is on my part it's not fictional — the stuff she wrote about me," Nick said.

Josh took a page out of the Chad Bear book, deflecting and making a threat. "All I know is I'm gonna try to work on this right now, and you need to hope that everything's good with me and her — period, man."

Nick told the cameras the confrontation was intense and scary. "All he wanted to do was just murder me."

Josh said he wanted to leave if things weren't okay with Amanda and packed his bags, but Amanda decided she would figure out their relationship on her terms.

"I love the twins, and I respect what they have to say," she told the cameras. "But at this point, I'm really tired of people telling me who I should or shouldn't be with."

Of course, the drama didn't stop there. When Caila Quinn realized her relationship with Jared Haibon couldn't grow with Ashley Iaconetti hanging around, she told Jared she wanted one ticket out of Paradise.

Witness the dramatic aftermath when Bachelor in Paradise returns Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
