Jimmy Fallon brutally impersonated Ryan Lochte at the VMAs

The U.S. Olympic team had quite a presence at the VMAs, with Michael Phelps and four members of the Final Five all taking the stage.
Unfortunately, given his current fraught situation with the Brazilian authorities, Ryan Lochte wasn't able to attend the awards.
So instead, Jimmy Fallon took the stage to present Video of The Year, dressed as Lochte with a blue windbreaker, a gold medal and aqua/blonde hair.
"Is it too late now to say sorry?" Fallon said, one of his many jokes about the swimmer's shaky relationship with telling the truth. "That's my jam. I wrote it, I produced it, and I directed the vid-jeah."
Fallon continued with a string of Lochte-lying digs, based on the VIdeo of the Year nominees, before finally awarding the prize to Beyonce's Hold Up.
"I'm the one who gave Adele the flip phone," he joked. "I taught Drake the Hotline Bling dance. I had a 30-way with Kanye West."
"I made Lemonade with Beyonce. I'm Reezy with the good hair!" he continued. (Okay, that one was a little much).
But the crowd wasn't as big a fan of Fallon's final joke, spoofing Lochte's story about Brazilians pulling a gun on him and his teammates. "(The videos are) so good, I couldn't choose. I couldn't choose, even if there was a gun to my head," he said to a mix of laughs and groans.
At least Phelps was amused — see his reaction when Fallon came onstage.
