New trailer for HBO's 'Westworld' finally makes the show click for us
Westworld may not be real, but for the first time, the upcoming HBO show is starting to feel real to us.
The long-awaited (and delayed) series, based on the 1973 Michael Crichton film of the same name, is hitting HBO in October, but so far we've only seen vague hints about what this world is going to be like. But on Sunday the network dropped a trailer that spells it all out, and finally has us getting excited. And maybe getting a little bit of that Game of Thrones vibe. And like Game of Thrones, it is NSFW.
The new trailer focuses on Evan Rachel Wood's Dolores, who may be a little less than human or not really human at all, living in an amusement park/brothel of sorts run by Anthony Hopkins' Dr. Robert Ford. So how Game of Thrones does it look so far? Well it's pretty epic in scale, it's got nudity and a whole slew of stars. Just replace the dragons with robots and add water!
We're hoping the rest of Westworld gets us as jazzed as this trailer.
