Lena Dunham to publish a collection of short stories

Hannah Horvath may have some roadblocks in the way of her writing career, but Lena Dunham is conquering yet another area of publishing.

The Girls star and Not That Kind of Girl author revealed on Instagram on Tuesday that she is working on a fiction short story collection, Best and Always (Random House), that will hit bookstores next year. A story from the collection, "The Mechanic," has already been published in Dunham's newsletter, Lenny Letter, in the summer fiction issue.

“This issue was also an exciting lil' way to let you know that I'm at work on my first fiction collection, Best and Always, to be published next year by Random House," Dunham captioned her Instagram.
