Cumberbatch and Freeman are back and brooding in 'Sherlock' Season 4 photo
Sherlock Holmes and John Watson are back. But they certainly don't look better than ever.
A new photo from the show's upcoming fourth season has the detective pair back in 21st century attire, sans mustaches. But what they've lost in hats and facial hair they've gained in dark colors and brooding glares. But as avid Sherlock fans know, that's nothing new.
In July the show's co-creator Steven Moffat speculated that the fourth season might be the show's last. Previously, the show has taken long breaks while its stars (the highly in demand Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman) have worked on other things.
“I don’t know how long we can keep it going," Moffat told Britain's Telegraph. "I’m personally willing, but I’m hardly the main draw. I would be moderately surprised if this was the last time we ever made this show. But it absolutely could be.”
If it is, we'll have to cherish every last drop.
