'Bachelor in Paradise': Will Josh and Amanda trade walks on the beach for a trip down the aisle?
Bachelor in Paradise has been the gift that keeps on giving since debuting just five weeks ago – thanks to a schedule that gives us four hours of content a week, if you include the after show. Which we do since that’s where Caila Quinn dropped the bomb on us that she and Jared Haibon are no longer together though he chased the car she was leaving in to be with her.
In the third season of The Bachelor spin-off we survived Hurricane Chad and saw both Guinness World Records and hearts get broken. We’ve also witnessed partners swapped faster than square dancers at a hoedown.
With the brevity of the romances in mind, we wonder if any couples will find everlasting love. The kind Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert found last season, or the kind Chad Johnson alleges exists between Chris Harrison and mimosas.
So which couples are left? No spoiler alert needed since we know that runner-up no more/new BachelorNick Viall and Jen Saviano don’t cross the finish line. We’ll find out how they crashed and burned in the finale tonight. Also, Ashley Iaconetti and Wells Adams broke up on Monday's episode.
Amanda Stanton and Josh Murray
If love can be measured in decibels during make outs these two could go all the way, though they’ve had their fair share of obstacles. Evan Bass drew up his own date card in an effort to steal Amanda, and Josh had to defend himself multiple times against the allegations in his former fiancée Andi Dorfman’s tell-all. Josh consistently called It’s Not Okay ‘fictional,’ and Amanda decided she would lean on her own judgment to assess Josh’s character.
Us Weekly reports the couple lives together, but this question remains: Does Amanda sleep between a rock (a Neil Lane sparkler) and a hard place (Josh’s abs)?
Lace Morris and Grant Kemp
We’ve been giving Lace a slow clap since she had the sense to end things with Chad, and this couple seems to be a good-ish pairing. On their most recent date, Lace told Grant she loved him and they both got matching Grace tattoos, a serendipitous combination of their names. But from previews it looks like the couple still has rough waters to face in Paradise.
Evan Bass and Carly Waddell
Shall we dub them The Odd Couple? Carly liked Evan and then she didn't like him and actually vommed after going on a date with him, which could've certainly been attributed to the habanero pepper ingested before breaking the world record for longest habanero pepper kiss. No, Evan didn't have the "swag" Carly yearned for and he couldn't do a push-up with her on his back, but she looked past all of that and now somehow they're in love with each other.
See who gets engaged on the season finale of Bachelor in Paradise tonight at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
