Ben Affleck is a power-hungry Prohibition-era outlaw in 'Live by Night' trailer

"I realized to be free in this life, breaking the rules meant nothing," Ben Affleck says in his new movie, Live by Night. "You had to be strong enough to make your own."
In the film set in the roaring '20s, Affleck plays Joe Coughlin, the son of the Boston Police Superintendent, who has chosen to live life as an outlaw who appreciates a good fedora.
Affleck, who's ranked No. 6 on Forbes' highest-paid actors list, also directed the film and wrote the screenplay based on Dennis Lehane's novel of the same name published in 2012.
Scott Eastwood, Elle Fanning, Chris Messina, Sienna Miller, Zoe Saldana, Chris Cooper and Brendan Gleeson also star in the flick, which is slated to open Jan. 13, 2017.
