Watch Jennifer Nettles' incredible National Anthem performance

Sometimes the most exciting part of a football game happens before the first play.

Singer and songwriter Jennifer Nettles blew the crowd (and us) away with her rendition of the National Anthem at the start of game between the University of Tennessee and Virginia Tech at the Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee on Saturday (aka the "Battle at Bristol"). While Nettles hit every single note, a giant American flag was unfurled on the field, and the crowd made an image of the flag in the stands. And did we mention the fireworks? There were fireworks.
