Millie Bobby Brown from 'Stranger Things' teaches Colbert millennial slang

When you need to know what The Kids are saying these days, who better to get help from than the pint-sized stars of Stranger Things? Specifically Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, because she can inform you of what's hip with The Kids in a very adorable British Accent.

Sure, the 12-year-old Brown may not have known what a record player was until she got on the Stranger Things set (yes, you should feel very old), and she may also be afraid of bungalows (and their lack of stairs), but she is friends with Sia video star Maddie Ziegler, and they do have a test to get into their squad. So when Brown stopped by The Late Show on Tuesday night, Stephen Colbert took said test. And failed. Miserably.

At least he succeeded in introducing Brown to the phenomenon of licking pens to make them work. Has she even ever used a pen? Do they use pens in schools anymore? Are we all just very, very ancient?

And if you need more Brown in your life, make sure you watch her rapping Nicki Minaj's verse on Monster while playing with silly string. Because, you know, you need to.
