Joe Biden tells Seth Meyers he'd rather debate Sarah Palin than Trump

What a bunch of malarky.

Way back in 2008, the Vice Presidential Debate was the one getting all the buzz, memes and SNL parodies. And current Veep Joe Biden misses that time.

The Vice President (and his wife Dr. Jill Biden) visited Late Night With Seth Meyers on Wednesday during the show's week in Washington, D.C., and after reminding Biden about the time he was on Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego as a Senator, Meyers got to the tough questions.

"How much do you wish you could debate Donald Trump?" Meyers asked Biden who literally couldn't answer the question before crossing himself.

"I think it would be too easy. I want someone like Sarah Palin," Biden joked (but was he really joking). "It would be ah ... I don't know. You watch it and you go, 'it can't be happening.'"

All jokes aside, Biden also slammed the GOP presidential nominee for the infamous 2005 audio tape where he discussed groping women without their consent with then Access Hollywood anchor Billy Bush. Biden, who co-authored the Violence Against Women Act as Meyers brought up, called the language not "locker room talk" but the "textbook definition of sexual assault."

“The cardinal sin of all is a man raising his hand and taking advantage of women," Biden said, expressing even more disbelief at recent reports that Trump went into the changing area for Miss Teen USA when he owned the pageant.

“I can’t understand how anyone can justify the abuse of power.”
