Jimmy Kimmel has an idea for anyone trying, and failing, to cop the latest version of Kanye West's Yeezys: make your own.

In a hilariously tragic sketch from Tuesday's show, Kimmel celebrated this week's release of Kanye's latest sneaker, the $350 Yeezy Boost 750 Chocolate, by creating his own version, gluing fake fur to an off-brand $12.50 shoe.

Then, just to rub his handiwork in clueless West fans' faces, he took the shoes out for a stroll in L.A., bragging to passers-by that they were actually Yeezys.

Pro tip: If Kimmel ever approaches you on the street and asks you a question, run in the opposite direction — or risk looking very stupid on national television.
