Will Ferrell dresses as George W. Bush, calls Trump a 'disgraced pumpkin
Just in time for the election, Will Ferrell's George W. Bush returned Tuesday night to dump on Trump.
Ferrell showed up in costume to Comedy Central's @midnight, defending his "cousin" Billy Bush to host Chris Hardwick.
“He’s been in the news a lot lately, him and that disgraced pumpkin Donald Trump, talking on that bus. I just want to say one thing: We Bushes don’t act like that," he joked. "We have standards, and we’re raised a certain way. We would never, under any circumstances, ride a bus.”
But Ferrell-as-Bush had a few words of praise for Trump.
"Thanks to the bozo Trump, folks have forgotten about how I tanked the economy, or I didn’t get Bin Laden," he said. "Heck, you know, Kanye West even said I hated hurricanes. All forgotten now.”
That's not the first time Ferrell has revived his Bush impression to mock Trump. He appearing in an SNL cold open last December.
"The field of Republicans out there is so messed up, it makes you miss me," he said.
