Daveed Diggs' 'Tonight Show' rap is all the motivation you need to go vote

Daveed Diggs is not throwing away his shot — and you shouldn’t either.

The actor/rapper, who first rose to prominence on Broadway's smash hip-hopera Hamilton, stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Monday night to implore voters to exercise their greatest personal freedom. And of course, Diggs did it the best way he knows how: with bars.

And a little history lesson.

"The right to vote ain’t always been given to every citizen," Diggs raps following a few verses from The Roots' Black Thought. "Not until 1920 did it include any women. And not until 1965 if you exhibit melanin. And even now, they try to stop us when they telling us lies about deadlines and who can and who can’t and all this voter registration miseducation, I’d be damned if after all that blood and fighting for the right to be counted, I don’t get out my bed and fill out that ballot."
