Meghan Markle MIA at Prince Harry's rugby game

Royal watchers were denied a much-anticipated sighting of Prince Harry with his new girlfriend, Meghan Markle, on Saturday.

The Suits actress, who was spotted near Kensington Palace on Friday, was MIA at London's Twickenham Stadium, where Harry cheered on the English national rugby team against South Africa.

Maybe the prince decided the media didn't deserve that much-anticipated photo of the new couple together after he was forced to issue a statement condemning their "abusive" stalking of Markle in an effort to get them to back off.

However, we did get a bonus royal sighting. Seated next to Harry was Princess Charlene of Monaco, who represented her native South Africa as a swimmer at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney.

Speaking of Sydney, Harry revealed the Australian city as the site of the 2018 Invictus Games, the wounded-warrior sporting event that is so close to the Afghanistan veteran's heart.
