Anna Kendrick sings 'I'm Still Here' for Colbert
2016's been kind of an (expletive), according to Anna Kendrick. But she's Still Here.
The Scrappy Little Nobody author stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night, and was able to sing some of her feelings to the host. Kendrick sang a rendition of I'm Still Here from the Stephen Sondheim musical Follies.
"It's one of those songs -- it just makes me feel empowered and like, we've been through it," she said, before launching into the song and absolutely begging Colbert to sing along with her. He doesn't know the words, but that won't stop her.
Watch her performance in the clip below, which also includes a very, er, interesting tidbit from her new memoir. Hint: It involves her imagining Colbert having sex. We swear.
