Seth Meyers dives into Trump's shady finances: 'Treason and bribery'

If Donald Trump's reality show-esque cabinet selection process is, as critics claim, meant to distract the public from his shadowy business deals, Seth Meyers isn't falling for it.

Meyers dedicated his "Closer Look" segment to Trump's foreign business ties Tuesday night, highlighting unethical — and potentially unconstitutional — conflicts-of-interest that could plague the president-elect down the road.

These include Trump pitching his new hotel to diplomats, meeting with Indian business partners while he was supposed to be running his transition, inviting Ivanka (who's supposed to run his businesses) to an official meeting with the Japanese prime minister, and using a congratulatory call from Argentina's president to push for completing a project in Buenos Aires.

To top it off, Trump tweeted that "only the crooked media" cared about these dealings. Meyers objected, saying, "Yeah, the crooked media has a crooked hard-on for the crooked Constitution."

"That's right, Trump is gonna drain the swamp — and then build a golf course on the swamp, and then bottle the swamp water, and sell it to voters as 'Trump All-Natural Organic Elixir," Meyers continued.
