Stephen Colbert: 'The Trump train keeps chugging down them crazy tracks'

Another night after the 2016 elections, another round of Trump jokes.

Stephen Colbert jumped in on the latest moves by the president-elect Tuesday, starting with the meeting Donald Trump had with the leaders of television news. "Our nation's most prominent media figures were dressed down and told, 'We're in a room of liars'," Colbert said, getting in a punchline about CNN and star Anthony Bourdain. "I might be with him on that one. Why is Anthony Bourdain on the Cable News Network? Eating noodles is not news."

But his comments to NBC's news president Deborah Turness was too good to Colbert to pass up. Trump reportedly asked Turness why the network ran photos of him with a double-chin.

"He's so photogenic, there's no bad pictures of him." Colbert said, oozing sarcasm while showing a composite of 10 unflattering photos. "He runs the gamut from 'I just ate a bug,' all the way to 'May I lick the bride?'"

He went on, roasting Trump's potential cabinet picks before addressing what kind of message Trump is sending with his about-face on prosecuting Hillary Clinton.

"That strong message: Ignore all my previous strong messages. And I don't know about you, but that is something I'll be giving thanks for this Thursday."
