Blake Shelton wrote a fake kids' book for 'Ellen' about his 'tiny little snake'
Blake Shelton might want to rethink his concept of "kid-friendly."
Dropping by Ellen on Friday, Shelton revealed that in addition to recording music, coaching The Voice and dating Gwen Stefani, he also wrote a children's book, just in time for the holidays: Blake and his Tiny Little Snake. (Spoiler alert: it doesn't actually exist).
Much to Ellen's amusement, the book was even more inappropriate than the title suggests. "Chapter one. There once was a man named Blake. Blake was a very tall and handsome man. But Blake had a very tiny little snake," Shelton read aloud to the audience's amusement, with the passages getting more inappropriate from there.
We'd say it's unfortunate that this book is fake, but really, it's probably for the best.
Even though his girlfriend wouldn't approve of Shelton reading his book to her sons, Blake and Gwen are still crazy in love, he shared with DeGeneres.
"It’s been just an eye opener to be with someone like her," he said. "Believe it or not, I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I’ve ever met in my life. It’s been good for me to be with somebody that’s so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart."
